Introduction

 As part of the celebrations in 2019 to mark to the 80th year of the birth of SAMBO, the British SAMBO Federation  Hall of Fame was proudly inaugurated by the BSF.  The creation of the BSF Hall of Fame, which had long been a vision of the sport’s UK governing body, is an excellent way not only to honour the lifetime achievements of our greatest athletes, but also to heighten public awareness of our sport and its rich history. Induction into the BSF Hall of Fame should be seen as the crowning glory of an athlete’s career, the highest possible accolade which should rival any medal, trophy and award achieved. Membership honours the truly outstanding athletes of our history.  The BSF is proud to salute the members of the BSF Hall of Fame.
